All surety bond applications must go through a review process before they can be approved. Manual review means that when your information was put into the AUS (Automated Underwriting System) the computer wanted a second opinion to make an approval. The second opinion is a human, the manual underwriter.
Money transmitters are held to a high standard because they are expected to handle their clients’ money responsibly and in accordance with their state laws and guidelines. Every state other than South Carolina and Montana require money transmitters to obtain a Money Transmitter Bond before they can start doing business.

Make sure to regularly evaluate your online reviews so you can recognize patterns. Are you getting a lot of great reviews about your email response speed? Awesome. Make sure you lean on that strength; make your email address accessible for future clients. Get a negative online review? It could just be an outlier. Get many negative online reviews that all comment on how you never return calls? Maybe it’s time to investigate and figure out how to manage your voicemail.
Before responding to any review—good or bad—make sure to pause. Consider how replying to a single review will look to others. Will you continue to respond to all reviews, or just the bad ones? Make sure you remain consistent across all media platforms so that your customers don’t think their review didn’t get seen. If it is a bad review, make sure to have a level head before replying.

Oregon construction flagging contractors will need to become licensed and bonded soon. Senate Bill 596 was signed into law June of 2015 and it takes effect on July 1, 2017.
Once the bill takes effect, construction flagging contractors in Oregon will no longer be able to work without an Oregon Contractor License and an Oregon Contractor License Bond.
These requirements were made to better align construction professionals and make sure there are no discrepancies between construction licenses.
