Bonded Title Information
If the state approves your vehicle’s eligibility for a bonded title, you must purchase a surety bond. At Surety Solutions, A Gallagher Company, we issue the required surety bond, not the title.
We are unable to advise you on your vehicle’s eligibility for a bonded title, the amount of the bond you require or any of the other state requirements. Please contact your local DMV or BMV for assistance with getting your title.
We currently don’t issue Lost Title Bonds.
Confirm your vehicle is eligible for a bonded title with the DMV or BMV prior to purchasing your bond. These bonds are non-refundable and non-cancelable.

Please note we don’t issue Certificate of Lost Title Bonds for Alabama, Iowa and Minnesota, although these states do offer the option to get a bonded title.

Payment Instructions

Request a Bond Rider
Need to make changes to your bond form? We’re happy to help! Most updates to a bond form can be completed through a single rider.
Before you submit a request and purchase your rider, verify all changes your bond needs with the entity requiring the bond (known as the obligee). Also, ensure they will accept a bond rider and don’t require a new bond.
A single rider will cover all the necessary changes to the bond. As long as there isn’t a change in premium or effective date, our rider fee covers all alterations made to the bond. However, any additional change requests after we issue the rider will require the purchase of a new rider. Our rider fee is $35 for all bond types.
Contact the obligee to verify they will accept a bond rider. If they do, determine all of the changes that need to be made to your bond. Purchasing a rider without verifying this information could lengthen the time to process your bond and result in fees for additional riders.

Request Cancelation, Renewal or Reinstatement
Cancel my bond
If you need to cancel your bond, please submit your request for cancelation using our contact form. Most bonds are considered fully earned within the first term. Our surety team will review your cancelation request to determine if the bond is eligible to be canceled and if a pro-rated refund can be issued.
Renew my bond
Our team sends out renewal notices up to 90 days prior to the end of your bond’s term. Please check your email’s spam/junk folder for a renewal email from customercare@suretysolutions.com. This email includes a link to renew your bond. If you require assistance with renewing your bond, please fill out our contact form.
Reinstate my bond
If you received a notice of cancellation from the obligee and need to reinstate your surety bond, please fill out our contact form. Our team will review your request to determine if the bond can be reinstated or if a new bond is necessary.

If you would like to request the status of a bond you purchased through us, the status of a quote or payment, please send us a message using the contact form below or via email at customercare@suretysolutions.com. A member of our team will get back to you shortly. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
If you are requesting the status of a quote, we recommend checking your spam/junk folder for an email with your quote from customercare@suretysolutions.com before contacting us. After submitting your application, the underwriting process may take up to 48-72 business hours before you receive your quote.
